ABOUT THE ARTIST

Noelle's artwork has been making people smile since 2004. Originally learning classical oil painting in college, her work evolved into her own whimsical style with a humorous twist. Often the titles of the painting are what make them even more humorous and her fans readily wait for the whimsy of her new paintings. One might think of her art as for children but Noelle reports that about 70% of her buyers are young at heart adults buying for themselves.

Noelle maintains an art fan base around the country and is represented by several galleries. When asked what keeps Noelle creating, she says "With the news so depressing these days, it really inspires me to create paintings that make people smile. To me, that means more than anything else and I think art that makes people happy can have a poweful impact on a person's life"

Noelle also regularly supports animal and human welfare programs -  "It is very rewarding to me to give back as much as I can."

Noelle was born in New York and now lives in Oregon where she can be found spending time with her cats Banana Jones and Zuki, reading, biking, hiking and of course painting.
